So, it's been a while.
I've had the currently-airing Korean drama "Heartstrings" on my mind for the past few days. (Its alternative title is "You've Fallen for Me".) It features singers/musicians like CN Blue's Jung Yong Hwa and Kang Min Hyuk as members of the school band "The Stupid", along with the actress Park Shin Hye as the female lead. The other members of "The Stupid" are ex-FT Island member Oh Won Bin (although I never knew him really) and FT Island member Song Seung Hyun's brother, Song Se Hyun (or so I've read).
But anyways, I love the music in this drama - the band reminds me of CN Blue, and reminds me of why I
like CN Blue. I think I like them so much because it lacks all the "pop song"-ness that is in the songs sung by idol groups these days. I like instruments and music. ^^
It's interesting seeing Jung Yong Hwa as Lee Shin and Park Shin Hye as Lee Gyu Won. Lee Shin has this playful-jealous side that isn't like the cool-headed Kang Shin Woo of You're Beautiful. Lee Gyu Won however, still has that 'Park Shin Hye' vibe at times, but at other times, I forget that she is Park Shin Hye. It's just when she whines to her grandfather that I remember she's Park Shin Hye. Otherwise, I don't see or feel much of a resemblance to the character she played in You're Beautiful (the name has slipped my mind at the moment).
I am currently loving part 3 of the soundtrack, so much...music!
My favorite song is probably Jung Yong Hwa's "Because I Love You." (err...is that what it's called? It's the first song in part 3, I think? He sings it after his biological father dies....) It makes me want to cry when I listen to it. =(
A nice Heartstrings moment today - maybe I'll reflect back on a couple other dramas in a few days.

So...I feel really bad for spamming jtoasn's cbox...again. And it's literally comment-spam, too! (Go scroll down the box; my spam
starts at about the halfway-point.)
Even though I just posted, I think I'll talk a little more...
...about why this blog was created in the first place (...last year), and why it officially started to be used.
The original intention of this blog was to be a blog-portfolio type of thing for my graphics and such, as many designers these days have. (I had also considered making it into a graphic-request site, but then I felt that I didn't actually want to name that under myself, so I scratched that idea.) If anyone ever...noticed, I tend to 'sign' (what's the correct term for that, anyways? label? copyright?) my graphics as "Silver Meteor Productions" ... at least, I did on some of my earlier works and such, which actually makes me realize that I also did it on Yanni's "Complicated Life" poster even though I did that under Vanilla Sky. I started trying to include the graphic request site's name/something on the graphics that I do working for them, since it seemed to be the typical thing to do. Apparently I forgot this time. Oops....
Anyways, now the current function of this blog is to not-spam jtoasn's comment box...which I just did. (Sorry about that... *bows*) So, failed purpose there. I'll try to actually remember next time.
While I'm here... (I'm starting to feel like a rambling old person now...?)
I started watching the Korean drama "You're Beautiful" this morning. It's turning out to be one of those dramas that need to have a better synopsis written for it. Although, the synopsis
IS accurate, it's missing that extra
something that sparks my interest. Just like the Taiwanese drama "Black & White". That drama's synopsis was lacking something too, but it ended up being one of my all-time-favorite dramas of...well, all-time. "You're Beautiful" is turning out pretty nicely too. It's hilarious, is all I can tell you.
My guess for one of the reasons why "You're Beautiful" became so popular despite it's lacking-synopsis is because it has so many 'handsome faces' in it, such as Jang Geun Suk (or maybe he became popular after this? I don't really know; my first drama with him in it was "Mary Stayed Out All Night", which I really only started watching because No Sun Ki from "1st Shop of Coffee Prince" was in it....waffle-Sun-Ki!~), Lee Hong Ki from F.T. Island, and Jung Yong Hwa from C.N. Blue. As for me, well, it clearly took over a year for me to finally start watching it, despite how good people said it was. (For some reason, I always make my drama-watching-choices based on how interested I am after reading the synopsis.)
The same thing had happened with Black & White; not a very awesome synopsis, but after I started watching it, I couldn't stop! (And again, it is now one of my all-time favorites.)
I love the music in "You're Beautiful" too; it reminds me of the music in "Dream High"...in the way that it all sounds really nice/I really like the songs. This realization of "I like these dramas & I love the music in them!" made me consider maybe watching "Beethoven Virus", but that will need some more consideration. Haha, "Beethoven Virus" is also a drama that a few friends of mine recommended, but the synopsis didn't quite catch my eye. Might be a worthy test/experiment to see whether there's something behind those "dramas without a better synopsis."
I was going to stop there, but I actually do have one more letter that I wanted to send out today.

Sometimes I feel like you seem so distanced from me because I purposely distance myself from you. I have a fear of getting "too close" and crossing the line, as well as a fear of saying the wrong thing because I don't know you well enough and don't want to assume that I know anything about you at all. After all, it's been so long.... Now that you're leaving, I think at last:
"If only we could sit down together so that I could tell you all about myself, and all there is to know about me."
I'm sorry I couldn't share more about myself with you. I'm sorry I couldn't get to know even more about you. I'm sorry I never asked, I'm sorry I never told. I'm sorry that I missed all the chances I had with you.
But one day when we meet again, I hope that things will be different. I hope that I'll figure out how to be open in an intelligent way, that I'll know how to say many right things and not say the wrong thing, and that we'll have a chance to become closer than we were before.
Sincerely,
Silver
